You will start your day early with an exciting game drive in the Southern Serengeti National Park (Ndutu), where wildlife is most active in the morning hours.

The Southern Serengeti is widely recognized as one of the prime locations to observe the complete cycle of the Great Migration. The herds arrive in December with the start of the green season, calving occurs in January and February, and by the end of the rainy season, the animals begin their journey onward as the grasslands dry.

Later in the afternoon, you will depart for Karatu and check in at a comfortable lodge near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Staying here allows for an early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater the next morning, maximizing your chances of exceptional wildlife sightings.

After breakfast, you will descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive.The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and one of Africa’s most extraordinary natural wonders.

It supports an incredible concentration of wildlife, with over 30,000 large mammals living here year-round. These include buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and the rare black rhino, along with a rich variety of birdlife such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. This unique ecosystem offers exceptional wildlife viewing in a relatively short time.

Upon completion of your safari experience, you will be transferred back to Arusha, with drop-off at the Arusha Clock Tower, marking the end of your journey.
