Tour Plan

Day 1 Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed and transferred to Tulia Spa & Boutique for check-in and relaxation. Later, enjoy a guided city tour that introduces you to the vibrant spirit of Arusha. You’ll explore local markets, browse the colorful Maasai market, visit Cultural Heritage, and learn about the region’s rich past at the Arusha City Museum—an engaging and immersive way to begin your journey.

Day 2 Arusha to Ndutu

After pick-up from the airport and a short safari briefing, you will begin your journey to Ndutu with a packed lunch provided. The drive takes approximately 5.5 hours, covering a distance of about 260 km. After around two hours on the road, you will enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where the scenery gradually transforms—from misty highland forests to open plains and lush grasslands. These sweeping landscapes eventually blend into the vast Serengeti ecosystem.

Ndutu lies along the main route of the Great Migration, where over two million wildebeest, along with thousands of zebras, antelopes, and gazelles, move through each year.

During the prime season between December and April, the plains become the main calving and nursery grounds of the migration. This period offers incredible wildlife action, as predators closely follow the herds in search of vulnerable newborns. The area is dotted with Ndutu Lake and Lake Masek, which attract large numbers of animals, especially during the dry season. Ndutu is also known as a prime big-cat territory, home to six different species.

Day 4 Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

On the last day of your safari, you’ll rise early for a quick breakfast before making your descent into the Ngorongoro Crater at around 6:30 a.m. The crater, the world’s largest intact and unfilled volcanic caldera, spans roughly 260 sq km with a depth of over 2,000 feet, creating an awe-inspiring natural amphitheater for wildlife.

You will enjoy a 5–6 hour game drive across the crater floor, a true wildlife haven where African elephants, buffalos, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions roam in abundance. Don’t forget to keep your camera ready—every turn brings incredible photo opportunities. After a picnic lunch at the scenic hippo pool, you’ll begin the steep ascent back to the crater rim.

From there, it’s the final leg of your journey: a scenic 4-hour drive back to Arusha, where you’ll be dropped off at your preferred location or transferred to the airport, bringing your unforgettable safari to a close.
